The Hungarian Minister of State for Parliamentary and Economic Strategy, Dr. Zoltan Cséfalvay, accompanied by well-known Hungarian experts and entrepreneurs, has made official visits to four European countries in the past few months with the aim of improving professional relationships between the countries and encouraging cooperation in the field of research and development. Four trips have been organised: the delegation of 10 professionals has travelled to Sweden and Denmark in January and to France and Germany in February.

Prof. Zoltán Horváth, Director and Zsuzsanna Várhalmi, Deputy Director of the EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group were also invited to these events. During the intensive two-day professional trips, the Hungarian delegation met ambassadors and embassy staff members, foreign researchers of universities, founders and leaders of startups and successful businesses. During the course of events, beside building partnerships, our director had several opportunities to introduce the activities of EIT ICT Labs, including the Master School and the Doctoral School, as well as current research projects.

This was the second phase of the roadshow initiated by the Minister of State for Parliamentary and Economic Strategy in 2013. Last autumn, the EIT ICT Budapest Associate Partner Group was also invited to Paris, London, Berlin, and San Francisco.
