The event of EIT ICT Labs in Ljubljana.

The Director of the EIT ICT Labs Budapest Associate Partner Group, Zoltán Horváth delivered the opening speech at the event organized on 4-5 November, at the University of Ljubljana.

In his opening speech, Zoltán Horváth emphasized the EIT ICT Labs Outreach Programme’s importance in developing partnerships with EU member states not directly connected to the EIT ICT Labs network. He commented on the mobility programme, which helps local professors, students and researchers to join international EIT ICT Labs projects. He also mentioned the scholarship schemes that support talented ICT students to join the EIT ICT Labs Master School. Furthermore, he highlighted the significance of the Outreach Programme in activating start-ups.

Technology evolution and the knowledge triangle of education-research-business were also discussed during the event, and there was an opportunity to meet SMEs and start-ups face to face.
